Today we learned additional information about the killing of our Ambassador Chris Stevens and his body guard and the two former Navy Seals that disobeyed orders to, “Stand Down” and went to the aid of the people at the Embassy. That new information was that the Embassy and the CIA operatives (former Seals) had asked for military help, not once, not twice, but three times and were denied three times.   This is smelling more and more like there was a desire on the part of someone to allow this entire fiasco to take place resulting in the deaths of four Americans, needlessly.

As you know from the title above, I am a former Navy Fighter Pilot who spent 18 months on Aircraft Carriers in the Mediterranean Sea.  I know the area well.  There is no doubt that, had an order to launch an FA-18 strike in support of the people at the Embassy and/or the Annex where the Former Seals were killed at 4AM following the earlier attack on the Embassy which started early in the evening prior, that there could have been assistance in the form of laser guided weapons or even a low pass in afterburner to dissuade the aggressors who executed the Ambassador after he was tortured horribly. This counter attack could have been launched from a Carrier or the base at Sigonella which was only 480 miles from Benghazi.  This is far less than Carrier born FA-18′s routinely fly to get to targets in Afghanistan using aerial refueling. Those missions often exceed six and seven hours in length.

There may have been a need for in flight re-fueling but that is standard practice for Carrier pilots and is done routinely for missions to Afghanistan and/or Iraq.   The former Seals had laser target designators which they had focused on the mortar emplacements that were shelling the Embassy and the Annex.  Our Navy pilots could have dropped a laser guided J-dam bomb on the emplacements that would have blown the attackers to hell in a hand basket. But the FA-18′s were never launched. Why!

Three times they were requested (Military help) and three times they were denied.  I cannot imagine what the Ambassador thought when, he realized he was being abandoned and would surely die.  Horrible!  The former Seals did what, I have come to understand, is what Seals do. They run TO the fight and not away from it.  They are very skilled Warriors and heroes in the truest sense of that word, which is used far too often in today’s world of wimps.

We must find out why this happened and who is responsible for the deaths of these men!  They were left to fend for themselves against overwhelming odds. It is only through the expertise of the two Seals that many were saved from the Embassy and escorted to the Annex where the two Seals were killed by a mortar round at 4 AM on the roof of the Annex. They were standing guard and fighting the attackers who were intent on killing every American in the Embassy when they died.

Any rationale analysis of this entire matter must come to the same conclusion! I believe someone wanted these folks dead?  We must find out who and why this was allowed to happen.  If it can be done to our Ambassador, who among us is safe?

As I watch the news and read many online news articles, I am constantly amazed at The President’s approval rating? I do not understand how so many Americans can approve of what, this obvious Marxist, is doing to this nation. I have to ask myself; is the average American still the self-reliant, hard working, proud and independent person that I grew up knowing or has my age now rendered me oblivious to the changes in the American Character over the last forty years.

Have the government controlled, politically Correct, schools changed the basic mentality of our citizens. When I stop to realize that the vast majority of our citizens are those born after WW II, I begin to think  that these folks look at America differently than I do.  I was a child during WW II and remember the total dedication that existed in this nation toward winning that war.  We knew and understood that our way of life, our freedom, our liberty was at stake and the War had to be won. Failure was not an option, and everyone knew it.

The media was totally devoted to reporting our successes in the war and our losses, especially early on in the Pacific. There has never been anything like the total focus that the American people had in winning that great war in only four years.  We defeated two huge military organizations who had been preparing for many years for our entry into the war. Yet we somehow out produced and out fought them and in the end, crushed them.

But we haven’t done that during the lifetimes of most of our citizens today. They only remember Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq and Afghanistan.  All undeclared and, for the most part, unwelcome wars without clear paths to victory and the political will to exercise the true strength of our military.

So, it struck me that most of our citizens really do not understand the true strength of America and how, when threatened by an outside force, we come together in the common defense of our beloved nation.  No, our citizenry has not witnessed that first hand and they do not know how mighty this nation is when we, as a people, realize that our backs are against the wall and it is fight or die, and in dying lose the freedoms we hold so dear.

I do not think that many of our citizens believe that this nation is at war right now. And at war with an enemy more dangerous than the Nazi’s or the Imperial Japanese.  That is because the war is being fought on a much different battle ground. A battle ground located right  here in the United States.  A battle ground that exists in the minds of our people and is being fought by those who clearly see the threat we face against those who have lost sight of what made us the greatest and strongest nation in the history of man. The fight takes place in our hearts and minds, a fight for self determination. A fight for self respect and a fight for the very things our Founding Fathers fought for 236 years ago. Yes, and that includes the right…no the obligation, to fail, when mistakes are made. For it is through those mistakes that we become better as a people.

I hear that a lot of our fellow citizens want; no demand; to be taken care of by those who have, by the dent of there hard work and/or good fortune, become financially well off. This is totally counter to our national character and is of great concern.  My parents were young adults during the Great Depression. There was no safety net, and very little that government did that was helpful to bringing an end to that nightmare. But those who endured it and came through it were almost to a person, the kind of person who would be insulted by a handout.  It was considered a disgrace to be on the dole, such as it was. Those that took help were determined to become self sufficient again as soon as possible, because they were perceived by society as having lost their self respect by not being self sufficient.  Not so today!  Those who do not take advantage of the huge number of Government hand outs are SUCKERS! Fools too stupid to know you really don’t have to work to get by.  Being on welfare has become a kind of badge of honor in some corners.  And that, my friends, is very bad, indeed.  Here’s why!

When you live at the pleasure of the government, you can also die at the pleasure of the government!  The old Great Depression cliche’ ” There is NO free lunch” is not just a saying, it is a truth based on the experience of those who have lived enslaved all over the world. The millions who found there way to America early in the 20th century and clearly knew that America was the, “last great hope for the world”.  For only in America could you rise from poverty and become anything you had the guts and work ethic to become.   Have we lost sight of that truth?  I am beginning to think perhaps we have.

If there are 47% of the people in this nation who do not see the clear danger we face in Washington, RIGHT NOW, then perhaps they prefer being slaves of the government.  Not me! Not Ever!

To say that the election of 2012 is “Critical” does not nearly sum up how meaningful this election cycle will be.  It, truly, will determine the direction our Nation takes for years to come and that direction will determine the survival of, ” The American Way of Life”.   I have mentioned that term in my last Blog and the fact that it is an expression that is no longer “Politically Correct”. That “way of life” is what is at stake in this election.

This nation will decide to continue on the road to ruin or return to the path of prosperity.  The two paths are separated by a huge gulf of debt, political correctness, lies and propaganda designed to appeal to the weakest of us and turn them against the strongest of us. Class warfare is the tool of the Marxist.  The proletariat is the mob that will overthrow the elite and the wealthy, no matter how their wealth was attained. The rich are inherently evil and it will be the duty of the proletariat to overthrow them.  Does this sound familiar to anyone who lived through the “Cold War”.  Well it should!  It was the matra of Marx and his minions in overthrowing the Czar and set the beginning of the Soviet Empire. An Empire that, but for the strength of Ronald Reagan, could have taken the world into nuclear winter and death for mankind.  Don’t think for a minute that this is an exaggeration!  We came within minutes of that very event in October 1962.  I know, I was there.

On the other hand, we can elect a Congress and a President who understand the brilliance and wisdom of  the Founding Fathers and return us to true adherence to the Constitution.  Never allow yourself to be led by those who would tell you that the Constitution is an old outdated document.  It is the most brilliant writing on liberty and a path to prosperity in the history of man.  Human nature has not changed and it will not change. Man will always put a priority on those activities and achievements that benefit him and those he loves, first. ” Charity begins at home!” as quoted from Benjamin Franklin, is still the truth!

What the progressives have never understood is that, if you take from the strong and give to the weak, you soon run out of strong people to take from.  That is because it is hard work to be strong and productive. It is hard to risk everything for a dream and take the chance that you will have to start all over again.

This election will determine whether we allow our Nation to become a European Socialist Economy based on Marxist philosophy or return to the philosophy of Ronald Reagan and the Founding Fathers. They  understood that the best way to help the truly needy was to allow strong men to succeed and , through that success , accumulate more wealth than they personally needed.  These successful people would then feel the obligation and the desire to share that success and that wealth with those less able to fend for themselves.

It is through true, “charity” that we can care for those truly in need; not some government plan to “redistribute” wealth. Wealth cannot be “redistributed” because the minute you take a persons hard earned wealth, you take away his incentive to go out and create that wealth through hard work and risk taking.  We now begin to see the results of the failed philosophy of Marx.  We see wealthy people sitting on piles of cash rather than investing it and creating new jobs for the rest of our people.  That is because they fear the future under the liberal progressive Marxists that now control our government.

This will be the most important election in the past one hundred and fifty years since the election of Abraham Lincoln. If we do not turn the Ship of State this year, it may be too late to make meaningful course corrections as the liberal progressives dig the hole deeper and deeper.  The National debt now equals the entire output of our economy for an entire year!!  When is enough, enough?

This nation is engaged in a orgy of self delusion with very serious consequences. Anytime you characterize a mass murder by a radicalized Muslim as ,”Work Place Violence”, you are aiding the enemy in the War on Terror. Oh wait! That’s right, there is no war on terror, there are just thousands of misguided and radicalized Muslims out there wanting us all dead! But its not a, “War on Terror”.

But this is only the tip of the iceberg! We are allowing the truth to be filtered through a mesh of left wing, touchy feely, nonsense that removes the truth from any condition and replaces it with a, watered down blather. This blather is not by mistake and its’ purpose is directed at the American people as part of a larger plan to appeal to the nature of people who just want, ” everyone to just, get along!” Well, that would be all well and good except it has the affect of misdirecting our will and our determination to prevail against those granted Politically Correct status.

We, as a people, want to live in peace and prosperity. In order for us to adequately defend our nation from powers that would take peace and prosperity away from us, we have to know the unvarnished truth in all things that pose a threat to that peace and prosperity. Political Correctness is nothing more than a “propaganda mechanism” albeit a very clever one. By appealing to American’s innate sense of fair play and kindness, Political Correctness shames us if we dare to challenge the softening of events and even hateful speech, as somehow being, at least,partly our fault.

We need to reject Political Correctness and get back to frankness. Frankness only knows the truth whether or not it is comfortable or very unpleasant. The Truth is the Truth and no amount of Politically Correct varnish applied to it will change the facts of the matter. As a people we need to deal with,”Facts” and not some rose colored view of terrible events or hate speech directed against our “way of life”.

There was a time after WW II when you heard the term, The American Way of Life spoken and written often. When is the last time you heard or saw that term? Why! It has become” Politically Incorrect” to feel positive about this nation. That has been and is the plan! To diminish our feeling of pride in what, America stands for. This entire movement toward self flagellation started in the 1960′s because many Americans did not believe we should be in Vietnam, fighting and dying for other people we knew next to nothing about. It is true that our involvement in that war was probably not something this great nation should have done. Korea may be viewed in the same way. Sending our finest young people to die for the “liberation” of other nations is not something I support. However, it must be the business of the American people to elect people who share that sentiment, if , in fact, it is the majority opinion of our citizenry.

What is amazing is that we have wonderfully brave young people who still love what we stand for that will go and put themselves in harms way just because we ask them to! Amazing! What other nation has done anything like this for mankind! None, that I am aware of.

All the more reason why any filtering of the truth must be avoided and defeated. The American people deserve to know the truth and it is only by knowing the Truth that they can make informed decisions on the path this nation is to take. Political Correctness be damned.

I have been watching Tim Tibow since his days at Nease High School south of Jacksonville, FL. He is a remarkable and inspirational young man! Not because of his talent in the game of football, which is substantial. Tim’s true gift is his leadership skill. I, frankly, don’t know if he realizes how rare his gift is. There are very few people who can rally a group of previous mediocre performers and, with his unique style of leadership convert them to outstanding performers. That, my friends, is leadership.

I watch the pundits on ESPN with glee. They have been deriding Tim’s quarterbacking skills for months. “He is not a,”third down” converter”. “His throwing motion is very poor”. There is a palpable dislike for Tim from many who do not realize the rarity that they are watching. Tim’s great strength is in his commitment to winning and doing whatever that requires of him to get that win. His Team Mates see this commitment and raise their level of play in an attempt to match Tim’s devotion to winning. Consequently, the entire Team’s performance is raised to levels that they, themselves, may not realize they were capable of achieving.

Tim is a “result” driven person! He is willing to take the hits and to make the plays that are required by his Team to WIN! I love to watch it happen! He has now won 5 of the 6 games he has started at Denver. How far he will take this Team is still up in the air. But if he can continue to show his Team Mates that he is totally committed to winning, I don’t think even Tim knows how far it can take them.

Frankly, if Tim could convert his leadership skills to business, there would be no limit to what he could achieve. Oh, I know, people don’t like that he is an obviously committed Christian. That is sooo yesterday,isn’t it! Well, those that hate him for his religious commitment don’t realize it is a key part of what drives Tim in his efforts. Tim sees his commitment to God as an absolute! He has taken the same level of commitment to the football field and, in my humble opinion, if he can convert that level of commitment to whatever he undertakes after football, he will go as far as he wishes to go.

I admire Tim Tebow! I have been around a long time. I have met Kings and losers all over the world! Tim Tebow is a winner and anyone lucky enough to get to know him, has gained a great role model for success in any endeavor.

There is little doubt that the Country is becoming more and more polarized. We are polarized in terms of our politics, in terms of our views of how our economy works or doesn’t work and we are polarized as to our view of normal behavior as Americans. Why is this happening? Why do we find such a dichotomy in our approaches to these matters.

Well, it all goes back to the 1960′s! That is when I was a young Fighter Pilot and then a pilot for Pan Am. Pan Am had the honor or chore depending on how you look at it, of flying the White House Press Corps whenever the President (Lyndon Baines Johnson) decided to go to a meeting outside the continental United States. I had the honor of being selected for such a trip as a co-pilot and the experience was very educational. Because the trip was over ten hours of flight time, we were required by FAA regulations to have a spare pilot on board to relieve the other pilots and afford them about 2 hours of rest during the flight. By Union rule, the pilots had a reserved First Class seat in which to take that rest.

In addition, the White House Press Corps always flew with a 100% First Class configuration in the Boeing 707 that was very similar to Air Force One in those days. There were more than ample supplies of liquor on board for the Press Corps consumption. I was fortunate and had a rest period in about the middle of the flight. I say fortunate because by then, the Press Corps was well oiled and very talkative. They readily engaged me in conversation and I learned a great deal about President Johnson and the Press Corps, too.

First, they absolutely loathed Johnson. They viewed him as a Texas buffoon in comparison to JFK who had preceded him. Johnson had a dossier on each and every one of the members of the Press Corps and had made it known to them, that should they print something he didn’t appreciate, that the material in those dossiers would find its way to the person who would be hurt the most by any such revelation. Therefore, they all feared him and despised him.

Johnson was the quintessential liberal who believed that all he needed to do was hand out enough money to enough people and they would elect him for two terms with ease. That proved to be untrue, but he sure tried to get it done. Under Johnson, the Departments of Education was formed. It’s task was to take money from the taxpayers and pay it out in such a way as to, over time, gain complete control of the American Public Education system. All they had to do was to get the school systems hooked on all that money and then tell them that unless they complied with Federal Guidelines in educating our Children, that the money would stop flowing to those who chose to disobey the Department of Education.

As I look back now, it is all so clear! One of the first actions of the Department of Education was to require that teachers be allowed to Unionize. This was a payoff to the Unions for their support of Democrat politicians and the money from the Unions was huge. As the Teachers became Unionized they began to demand more and more during each contract negotiation and it became increasingly difficult to fire incompetent teachers because of Union protection. As time went by more and more rules that suited the Unionized Teachers became the rule. No longer could you actually discipline a child for gross misbehavior; instead they got a time out. No longer would parents support the disciplining of a student as had been the case up until then. Now, if a Teacher disciplined a child, the parent would threaten to sue the teacher and the School Board. Where before a child’s worst fear was that his parents would learn that he/she had been disciplined in school because he/she knew that the real problem was going to be when Mom and Dad found out; now the child had nothing to fear from Mom and Dad because Mom and Dad no longer felt close to the teachers and had been brainwashed that to punish a child would traumatize the child and ruin the child’s life in later years??

So we have now reaped the whirlwind of Federal Control over our schools. Before the Federal raping of our school system, schools were controlled by local School Boards who actually had some real authority over what went on in the schools. That is now gone and only the Teachers Union and the Administrators can move the system in any direction and they can do very little that does not comport with the Federal Guidelines.

The result is that we have millions of young people who have been cheated out of one of the most important lessons that a school can teach a young person; self discipline! We have a sea of young people who cannot control their own lives. They have been coddled from the Cradle to Adulthood and they have no clue what to do with their lives. There is no better example of these forlorn losers than the “Occupy Wall Street” crowd. What you are witnessing in that “so called” movement is a group of disconnected, and pitiful people who cannot understand that their lives will be the result of the decisions that they have made and the company they keep! So far, their decisions do not inspire any level of confidence that they will ever get it together to the point of being independent adults, contributing to society in some meaningful way.

We have some incredible young people who have learned through their military experiences or who were fortunate enough to have parents that actually instilled a sense of self worth and self discipline in them. We see them coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan almost everyday. The vast majority of them will carry the lessons learned in War throughout their lives and they are our great hope for the future of this nation. They know that there is no “fairness” inherent in life. They know that each of us must find his own path in life and that path will be a reflection of the totality of the decisions that we make. They know that the price of undisciplined behavior is very high indeed. It is only through a disciplined approach to the choices we must make in life that one can find their way to fulfillment and a sense of self worth.

There are so many other problems with our schools that it would take a very large volume indeed to list them, but the lack of instruction in self discipline is, in my mind, the most serious short coming that has resulted from the Federal takeover of , what was, the educational standard of the world. Now, we are lucky to graduate 60% of the students in our High Schools and that is because they do not see the value of the education they are being subjected to.

I watch, with great dismay, as the media frenzy surrounding the allegations of Sexual Harassment against Herman Cain continue to swirl around him like a nightmare that won’t end. The source of these allegations remains clouded, but they will do irreparable harm to Mr. Cain unless something happens to stop this cascade of alleged victims from seeking something from these allegations.  Oh, and yes, they are seeking something, whether it be money, notoriety( which can become money) or revenge for some actual poor judgement on Mr. Cain’s part.

No one has even hinted that anything actually happened as a result of these alleged transgressions by Mr. Cain. No one seems to have been physically molested or assaulted. These allegations all seem to be merely the so called victim’s, perceptions of what they thought was happening to them more than eleven or twelve years ago.

Anyone who has been in business for any time and had the responsibility of hiring and firing women, especially young women, knows that it has become fairly standard procedure for a young woman who has been terminated, to allege sexual harassment against her employer.  Attorneys from coast to coast have advised their clients who have been terminated to file these allegations because they know the following facts.

1. Almost all companies carry E &O Insurance that covers such matters.

2. Any claim made against the company or its employees such as sexual harassment, if turned over to the insurance company becomes the sole purview of the insurance company who has the responsibility to resolve the matter.  In other words, the company and the alleged perpetrator of the harassment, lose all control of the matter and the insurance company takes control of any and all settlements or lawsuits.

3.  Since most insurance companies do not wish to take these matters to court for the very simple reason that it can be very costly, they will almost always negotiate a settlement payment with the alleged victims for expediencies sake.

At the end of the day, the alleged victim gets some nominal amount of money, usually less than $25,000 and the matter is settled  with them signing non-disclosure agreements that require them to NEVER divulge the settlement or the matter again.

This is all good thus far for the alleged victim. She has received a nice little pay off and the matter seems to be over, but then what can happen is being witnessed every day now.  When the so called victim realizes eleven or twelve years later that they have sold their purported leverage very cheaply, because the alleged perpetrator has become a national figure, they begin to search for ways to circumvent their non-disclosure agreement and renew the opportunity to extract even more from the alleged perpetrator.

That is what you are seeing today!  These women were, for the most part, terminated for cause by the employer and filed sexual harassment charges against Mr. Cain since he was the CEO of that organization at the time.They took the money and ran at the time, thinking they had scored a nice little bonus on the way out. But now, they think, Oh God, we settled too cheaply and this guy is running for President of the United States. We must find a way around our non-disclosure agreements so we can get some serious money from this man or his supporters for our silence.

The problem began when the settlement occurred because Mr. Cain probably lost control of his side of the story and the insurance company or the company itself, (not wanting to take it to the insurance company for fear of higher premiums) believed that the expedient course was the proper course.  Now, we see that it was not the proper course, if Mr. Cain is innocent of any actual wrong doing.

Let’s talk about what is being alleged here for a minute.  The women are all saying that they perceived some action or spoken word from Mr. Cain as a sexual suggestion.  In other words they are saying that Mr. Cain “hit” on them without then having encouraged such an encounter.  There are several possible realities here.  One is that Mr. Cain actually made a sexual overture to these women and their position is righteous.  The other is that, they were mistaken in believing that Mr. Cain was seeking some sort of  unwanted sexual encounter with these women and it was just a misunderstanding of Mr. Cain’s outgoing personality?  Oh, lastly, that they knew and know today, that there was no such event and that it is a total fabrication made up for the purpose of seeking and receiving a settlement from the insurance company or the employer, as advised by their Counsel.

Whatever, the truth of the matter, this cannot be debated.  Herman Cain is being damaged by these unsupported and unproven allegations, which now, eleven or twelve years later, somehow have just come to the surface.  If you do not believe that this is all a well planned attack on Herman Cain, I have a very nice bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you!

This is a planned attack!  Who planned it is not yet known. The women, are in some ways, pawns of the people pulling their strings and stand to be damaged, too. The truth of the matter, notwithstanding!

You are witnessing a classic scenario that passes through the minds of every good man who contemplates running for high public office.  Your enemies will find all the skeletons in your closet and invent some, if there aren’t any.  Who among us can cast the first stone against an alleged wrong doer. Who among us doesn’t have something that they wish to keep from someone?  Very damn few of us, is the correct answer. And that is why we have the sleaze bags in Congress that we do.

I am not defending Herman Cain here!  I don’t know if he is a serial sexual abuser or not since I do not know the man personally. My gut tells me he is not. But would any of us want to walk the tight rope he is walking now?   I think not and because of these types of events we have lost millions of good men and women who will not even consider running for office. Who really loses here?  I think we all do because we have allowed these types of allegations to be made without any form of corroboration.  The allegations alone can and will destroy people and we all lose because we allow it.

One has to grasp the real intent of the “Occupy Wall Street” and every other place that will tolerate this group of forlorn wastrels. This is reminiscent of the demonstrations that took place during the Vietnam War and the negative effects of that group are still being visited on the people of the United States to this day. Those demonstrators and this most recent group have several similarities. They are a dirty, disheveled, drugged out, pathetic group of young people wishing that someone would come to “save” them.

Well, kiddies, here is the sad news! No one is coming to “save” you, except “you”. This is the crowd that pleads for “fairness” in everything, when “fairness” is a myth in real life. What is “fairness”. To take from a productive person and redistribute to a slovenly loafer? Is that your definition of “fairness”. If it is, you have a great deal to learn about human nature. And learning this lesson is critical to your future lives. Human beings are, in the final analysis, animals. Now, don’t take this wrong. I am not suggesting that humans are not different in many ways, but to deny the basic and fundamental truth that we still have, “self interest” as the overriding driver in our actions, is to deny the basic truth of our existence. This can always be demonstrated by making, the seeker of what others have produced, take a reversed role and asking him/her to share a substantial portion of whatever they have with others without compensation of any kind. I am not talking about charity, here. Most of us will gladly share any excess income or material goods with others, but, if it is my family that is going to go hungry because I am compelled to give up the fruits of my labor, I have a real problem with that and so does almost everyone else.

This is the fundamental animal instinct of “self preservation” that is the basic driver of all animal actions. We are just not going to injure ourselves, or those that we love, in order to help those that will not fend for themselves. Every action taken by government that flys in the face of basic human instinct is doomed to failure. That is why the country is bound up in an economic “lock box”!

There is plenty of money residing in companies and personal savings, but it is not being used to drive our economic engine. It is being reserved for a “rainy day” that most Americans perceive as being, inevitable, given the actions of our Federal and State governments. It doesn’t take a “rocket scientist” to realize that when your government is borrowing $.42 of every $1.00 it spends, that trouble is just around the corner.

So, what I am trying to say is simply this! Get a job! Oh, I know you don’t want to flip burgers after spending your parents and yourself into debt for an education that only qualifies you to take a job in “underwater basket weaving”. But GET A JOB. Any Job! You may not like the job, but you will at least be carrying your own weight instead of looking for someone else to carry that weight. Work harder than anyone else who has that job, and pretty soon, you will be in charge of some of them. If you continue to show drive and diligence and loyalty, you may, someday, be in charge of all of them.

This is what my father had to do during and after the great depression! He had to take a job he did not like, but he did it and provided for our family and sent two boys to College. Oh, we both had scholarships, but we learned the value of hard work early in our lives. This is a lesson that too many of our young people have never had to learn and it has deprived them of the basic tools of survival. Good hard work is, in many ways, it own reward. There is satisfaction in performing, even the most menial of tasks, well. There is a path to true realization of your “self esteem” and “self esteem,” based on true accomplishment, is the foundation of a successful life.

Get a job and stop waiting for someone to “save you”. It ain’t going to happen!

Early in 2011, we heard story after story emanating from the Obama Administration about how wonderful the Arab Spring was and how it was an uprising demanding Democracy in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, and Syria. We heard how terrible the response was from Tyrants like Qaddafi, Mubarak and Assad. The responses ranged from oppression and resistance to outright murder of the demonstrators by those that they wanted to overthrow. We watched night after night as the mainstream new media told us of the horrors being perpetrated on those brave demonstrators who only wanted a voice. They only wanted a democratic government so they could have the vote and have their voices heard!

Only a few like John Bolton, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Neil Boortz had the stones to tell us what was really happening. These uprisings were orchestrated by the Muslim Brotherhood and the Muslim Brotherhood is not known as a bastion of Democratic tolerance. On the contrary; they are proponents of the implementation of Sharia Law, the strict interpretation of the Koran.

Now that all of these tyrants have been deposed except Assad, we hear that Libya has declared it will be governed by Sharia law. We see Coptic Christians being murdered and driven out of Egypt and the recent election in Tunisia has produced a majority of extreme Islamists in the Tunisian Government. What a minute….What happened to the Arab Spring of liberation and demand for democratic law and the people’s voice in government!

Well, it certainly appears as though Limbaugh and Hannity were right! The whole uprising was, in fact, a ruse! A Sham! A Fraud! We hear of the Arab Spring being hijacked! Baloney! It was never really a democratic movement, it was always planned to turn over power to the radical Islamists! Once again, we have been had!

What’s worse, we spent a billion tax payer dollars to help them do it in Libya! Not only were we bamboozled again; now they are getting us to pay to be bamboozled!! How bad can it get.

This administration has been had, in spades. Obama’s wonderful apology tour and outstretched hand to the radicals has led us to this enormous realization, that Obama is complicit in all of this. If Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity knew what was going on, don’t you think that the CIA, the NSA, the entire American Intelligence apparatus, knew who was really behind these uprisings? If you don’t think this administration really knew what was going down, you are smoking some very strange weed, indeed or drinking some very strange Cool Aid! Whatever; the net result is going to be that our friends in Israel are going to be totally surrounded by hostile, blood thirsty, radically extreme governments, who will have vowed to drive them into the Sea or, ” finish the work begun by Adolph Hitler”!

I fear for our allies in Israel. I fear that this has been the plan all along and that Obama has, totally, thrown them under the bus! No a fleet of buses! This is extremely dangerous! The Israelis will not go quietly into the night! There will be a very violent end to this and nuclear weapons will not be off the table! Just look at the size of Israel compared to the nations surrounding them that want them dead.

Oh, by the way! They will turn to us next! If they are successful in driving the Israelis into the sea, standby,for our turn is coming! There is no doubt in my mind that we are heading into a total confrontation with the Middle East. There is no compromise with Jihad! It is written in the Koran and the radical Islamists will act on those writings. They must enslave us or kill us. There is no other course that complies with the Koran.

The question really is, which course will we take? Will we capitulate or fight! Don’t be so sure we will fight! Obama has said if it comes to a fight between Christians and Jews versus the Muslims, ” I will stand with the Muslims”. It is in his book!

The next twelve months will be among the most critical in American History! We will either return to a commitment to individual freedom and responsibility or we will go into the same status as England and France. A, “once great nation” gone under.

Think about it!

Today we learned the the “so called” liberators of Libya have declared that Libya will be governed according to Sharia law! We also learned the Tunisia’s elections show a strong movement to Islamism and a likely push for Sharia law there as well!

So much for the “Democratization” of the Middle East! The Islamic Brotherhood has fulfilled its plan, for the most part, and with the exception of Syria, which is doomed to follow the same path, all of the major Middle Eastern nations will be living under Sharia law within a few years.

Anyone with an ounce of sense should have seen this coming and I believe that they did. The President has stated in his writings that should it come down to a fight with the Muslims, “he will stand with the Muslims”. How much clearer could it be! We have a President who wishes to foster the growth of the Muslim extremist position in the world and wishes to see the expansion of Muslim power on a World Wide basis. There can be no other reasoning for his foreign policy positions during the last three years.

Now we hear that the United States will remove ALL of its military personnel from Iraq by the end of 2011. After nine years of war, 4,800 deaths and over 100,000 of our finest young people having been injured, many severely, we are just going to pick up our marbles and go home. This is tantamount to capitulation to the Iranians, who will, within two years, be in control of the Shiites population of Iraq, and they will be fomenting another uprising in Iraq. In other words, all the blood, pain and treasure we have invested over the last nine years, stands to be lost.

Not since our abandonment of Vietnam in 1976, have we made such a stupid move. Of course, the real stupidity was getting involved in the first place. We should have as our national policy an absolute requirement for a Declaration of War by Congress,before we send our sons and daughters into hell for some nation that, for the most part, hates us.

These wars of liberation are nothing more than a way to feed the Military Industrial complex at the expense of the American people. We must stop this incessant need to go kill people when there is absolutely no direct threat to our nation. Oh, I know, some will argue it is better to fight over there than to fight in the streets of America. Don’t misunderstand what I am saying here! We must have a military force that is so strong that no one dare to challenge us. While I am not a fan of Teddy Roosevelt, he was right when he said, “Speak softly, but carry a big stick”. That means we continue to invest in new weapons that make our military so intimidating that no one dare challenge us.

Sooner or later, we are going to have to make a choice! We are going to capitulate to the Islamists or destroy them! We continue to make the fatal mistake of political correctness in areas where we cannot afford such idealism. They want you dead or enslaved! Sooner or later that choice will be thrust upon us and we better be prepared for that eventuality. The only way to avoid it is to be so strong that they dare not attack and the we must be prepared to carry out very powerful punishment for anyone who dares to try.

We are losing ground in the Middle East and the consequences will be very serious in the near future. We are not ready for that now and we better get a government who understands the threat and how to deal with it, or we are going to pay the ultimate price…our freedom!
